April 27, 2016 AGM

This year, we had a very successful AGM on April 17th. We had more than enough people to meet Quorum. The executive remains the same except for Heather coming back as Secretary. Thanks Julie for filling in this year! Thanks also to Teresa for getting the door prizes and to Don for getting people to fill the positions.

New MTS survey... May 16th - July15th

There will be a new Safe and Inclusive Workplace Survey: emails will be stored separately from responses on survey. Want at least 50% of members to do this survey. May 16th - July 15th will be online. Everyone is encouraged to to fill in this survey as results will determine future planning...

Ian Wishart

Introducing the Minister of Education, Ian Wishart...

Ian Wishart was elected as the MLA for Portage la Prairie in 2011 and re-elected in 2016. A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Wishart has served as president and vice-president of Keystone Agricultural Producers, on the executive of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, and as a board member of the Manitoba Crop Insurance Board and the Manitoba Water Council. He and his wife Leslie have two children and live on a fourth-generation family farm north of Portage la Prairie.
